New Year, New Blog!

So I have been thinking about starting up a blog for a while now, but just have not found the time (or motivation) to start one up. Well, it is a new year so here's to a new blog! Both Joe and I are glad to have 2008 over with, and begin 2009, for the main reason that we will finally be together again! I suppose this may need an explanation....Joe deployed to Iraq in October 2007 but will be coming home soon; for those who don't know, Germany is home for the time being! 15 months is a long time to be apart so, to say the least, it will be the happiest day of our lives to be reunited.

This whole blog thing is new to me, so forgive me if it takes me a while to figure things out! In the mean time, here are a few pictures from a trip Joe, Scarlet (our beagle) and I took right before he deployed. We took a road trip through Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Lichtenstein.
